'Arth' is a rare gem of the 80s and is also one of the best movie directed by Mahesh Bhatt. This slow moving movie is dotted with some excellent Gazals sung by Jagjith sing. A good performance again from Shabana Azmi keeps the show going. The best part of the movie are the three songs and the music by Jagjit Singh. Jagjit Singh's ghazals beautifully reflect the inner feelings of the characters.
