Mughal e Azam is an epic Indian film. It was produced and directed by K. Asif and released in 1960. It took approx ten years to finish this movie, and was the most lavish production for its time. This movie broke all box office records in India when released and held the record for the highest grossing film ever until the release of 1975 film Sholay. Excellent characterization starting from Anarkali (Madhubala, the best Indian actress of all time).

It aimed to have an anti-drug message and also depicts some problems associated with Westernization such as divorce. Hare Rama Hare Krishna was the biggest hit movie of 1971. Filmed almost entirely in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, the movie depicts the theme of a broken family, and also a relationship between a brother and a sister.
